Let's have a parade!
By far the most epic and buzzed about part of my job is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. For the past two years, I have had the privilege of participating in the event on the front lines. Covering the parade on social media takes a lot of preparation, including planning and pre-writing all social media copy. But, there's nothing like the thrill and pure chaos of the big day. In 2014 and 2015, I coordinated and wrote Instagram posts for the event and captured and live posted content from the parade route.
